The festival kicks off at 11am at the festival grounds on Main Street. We start off the day with children games, soccer and basketball tournaments. Food vendors offer authentic Latin and American Cuisine. Music and demonstrations of salsa making and salsa dancing are featured. A Mariachi Band w5ll perform in the afternoon and the evening is reserved for dancing accompanied by an authentic Hispanic Orchestra. Fun for the whole family!

Presents 35+ events in four days including: Little League an8 softball tournaments, stockcar races, 2 and 5 mile road runs, a dance, volleyball tournaments, gymnastics & martial arts demonstrations, duck races, kids shows, steak feed, Beowulf Summer Party, teen dance, talent show, Fireworks and of course the Canoe Race from Calamine to Darlington on the Pecatonica River. It also includes arts & crafts fair, chicken barbeque, carnival, a parade, and much more!

Lighted Christmas Parade on Main Street ending with a visit from Santa in his Candy striped tent on the banks of the River. Christmas carols, hot chocolate, bonfires, and lighting of the famous floating Christmas Trees.  Fun for the whole family!

Children of all ages (and children at heart) dress up into their favorite costumes for a two hour party in the Darlington Elementary-Middle School Gym with games, food, fun, and prizes from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. 
Trick-or-Treating Hours are from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on October 31st.

Children's Fair
Hosted annually the third Saturday in April at the Middle School Gymnasium from 10 am until 1 pm

This funtastic event is hosted by the Lafayette County "Celebrate our Children Coalition."  The gym is full of booths and activities featuring dozens of area businesses and organizations who join to celebrate our area children.  You can expect to enjoy interactive sites, games, entertainment, lunch, a wagon parade, and much more.   There are tons of drawings for free items including wagons.  The entire event is free. 
Memorial Day Parade

This meaningful tribute to our Nation's Veterans includes a short parade, memorial service, releasing of white dives, music, and more.  Hosted by the Bates-O'Brien-Howe-Wiegel-Roelli American Legion Post.
