Pecatonica River Trails Park,
Darlington, Wisconsin

The campgrounds are located along the Pecatonica River and the Cheese Country ATV Trail in Darlington.

  • Launch your canoe and paddle the Pecatonica River
  • Fish & swim along the banks of the river
  • Ride and enjoy the many sights along the famous Cheese Country ATV Trail and local Darlington ATV Club Trails. Darlington is located midway between Mineral Point and Monroe on the trail. Parking for daily trail use is also available.
  • Or just sit and relax along the banks of the river and enjoy the wildlife along the waters edge.
  • Enjoy shopping and eating in Darlington, or travel a short distance to historic Shullsburg or Mineral Point.
  • Short distance from the House on the Rock or the antique and art of Mineral Point

24 Designated Camping Sites: 18 Electrical sites

  • 8 sites under grove of walnut trees have 20 amp service
  • 10 sites in open w/30 amp service
  • 6 Non-electric sites

All designated sites include fire ring and picnic table

Directions: Darlington, Wisconsin is located on State Highway 23 in Southwest Wisconsin.
From the North, drive 13 miles South of Historic Mineral Point on Hwy 23 to Darlington;

From the West - Platteville - drive South on Hwy 80 for 7 mile then East on Hwy 81 to Darlington;

from the East - Monroe - drive west on Hwy 11 for 25 miles then North on Hwy 23 to Darlington. To reach the campgrounds follow signage on Main Street.
