Welcome to Rural Medical Emergency Medical Service, Inc. Thank you for visiting our web page. Rural Medical is a private, non-profit, volunteer community service organization. We serve Gratiot, Darlington, Lamont, Wiota, Fayette, Willow Springs, Seymour, and Kendall. We serve the public as a team of dedicated, compassionate, volunteer professionals by providing quality embergency care, education, and community service.
Rural Medical consists of approximately eighteen regular volunteers, and five community advisors. We are governed by a board that consists of one representative from each of our municipalities.
We are always looking for new people, and with this web page we hope to inform and encourage you or someone you know to become part of our team. You must live or be able to be at the ambulance garage within 4 minutes of initial page. If you think you are the type of dedicated individual we are looking for, and have a desire to help others in need, please contact us for additional information. Mission Statement:
Rural Medical Ambulance Service exist to provide pre-hospital emergency care and to maintain the highest quality of care for the residents and visitors of our district; supporting illness and accident prevention; manage our resources effectively and to collaborate with our colleagues in healthcare and emergency services.
